Workplace From Meta

The Knowledge Library is a repository of key resources within a company’s Workplace from Meta environment. Each Workplace customer can build their own Knowledge Library and use it to publish resources such as employee handbooks, training documents and HR handouts. Each item in the Knowledge Library can be made available to all employees or configured via permission settings by department, job title, location and more.

Workplace from Meta has been called “Facebook for businesses,” and it has many similar features to the social media platform, including a newsfeed, one-on-one and group chat, and video chat. Companies can also build Knowledge Libraries, segment employees into smaller groups and host virtual meetings in video conference rooms.

Workplace from Meta is an enterprise collaboration tool and social network similar to Facebook. It is available for users on desktop and mobile devices. Workplace unites all employees, regardless of department or location, on a centralized platform where they can communicate with colleagues across the enterprise, stay informed of company developments and build stronger relationships with their coworkers. Workplace from Meta is trusted by over 7 million companies, including Fortune 100 companies like AstraZeneca and Delta Air Lines.

The Metaverse is a Virtual Reality (VR) environment that has exciting potential as a new way of enabling remote work and collaboration. While Workplace from Meta serves a similar purpose, Workplace from Meta and the Metaverse are not currently connected.

Meta has invested heavily in data security features for Workplace. Some security measures include data encryption in transit, malicious file and link detection and audit logs. Workplace from Meta also enables additional security features through third-party API integrations like Aware.
